Description of Programme

Food in Singapore is a unifying experience for all Singaporeans. “Food and Food Security” explores the roots and the future of hawkers and hawker culture in Singapore, the challenges faced and their contribution to the national psyche. Covid-19 has been a shock to the world, and in Singapore it has raised the question of food security; what are our aims and the main challenges regarding food security? Mr KF Seetoh is a prominent local food consultant, photographer, writer and television host. He is best known for the creation of Makansutra, a food consultancy company that produces a food guide and television series of the same name, as well as organises food events.
