Defending the Island

Description of Programme

The Fall of Singapore was an important event to the British Empire. The "Defending the Island" tour brings out the sharp contrast of the horrors of war, the loss of life and suffering for combatants and the civilian population and the fragility of our current peacetime conditions with the fruit of Singapore’s material success.
