1-Day Itinerary at Singapore Discovery Centre

Being stuck in Singapore for the past two years and unable to venture out overseas? Here’s how to maximize a full day of fun
at Singapore Discovery Centre!

11 am: Commence a day of fun!

1. Celebrate Singapore Discovery Centre’s Silver Jubilee with carnival-style games, activities, and snacks at the Concourse.

Fun awaits you at the Giant Game Booths, and Pop & Fluff! Snack Booths right at the entrance of the centre. Get your own temporary tattoos too! Start off your day with these free, fun, and light activities, available from 11 am to 8 pm from 20 to 28 Nov!

2. Get Creative with your Hands! (For the Little Ones)!

For families with children aged 5 – 10, sign your little ones up for an exclusive, fun-tastic time at our Little Critters & Little Planters workshops! Make your way to the Function Room, located to the right from the entrance, for 1.5 hours of hands-on artistry and creativity.

Little Critters is an interactive art and drama workshop to create your perfect pet and “bring it to life”!

Little Planters, an eco-workshop of planting greens while enriching your little ones’ minds about the importance of sustainability!

Alternatively, stumble into our Playground area for a variety of FREE crafts for your little ones. Create vibrant and cute Critter Crawlies* or assemble the SDC25 Limited Edition 3D Diorama of the Singapore Skyline and SingaPAW mascot!

3. Escape our Black Lake Facility (Escape Rooms).

Looking for an action-packed thrill that possesses a fright factor while challenging your brainpower, problem-solving skills, and teamwork? For the adrenaline junkies, gather your dream team to embark on exciting mysteries with captivating story plots and mind-boggling puzzles to solve.

12 pm: Lunch Time!

4. Fill your tummies for lunch at Bottle Tree Cafe Restaurant.

Gulf down a feast of authentic Asian and local tze-char cuisine for lunch! The new Bottle Tree Cafe Restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty dishes, from the Signature Pan-fried Bee Hoon to popular dishes like Buttercream Chicken Rice with Egg, Prawn Paste Chicken, and BBQ Grilled Stingray, and delectable delights like traditional toast with coffee, tea and more!

Get up close and touch the interesting textures for a multi-sensory experience. As you wander through the Sandbox, try your hand at the interactive gameplays situated around the gallery, or test your general knowledge with fun and engaging quizzes! Explore our multi-faceted, present-day Singapore and imagine Singapore’s future together through inspiring Singaporean stories and digital interactive features. 2 pm: Beat the afternoon slump with a Bus Tour!

6. Enjoy a sneak peek of the military institute on the SAFTI Bus Tour.

Hop onto our SAFTI bus for an exclusive tour which offers a unique glimpse into officer cadets’ lives and the role of SAF in the defence and security of Singapore!

7. Take Instagrammable photos at our interactive AR Media Wall.

Coming out of the SAFTI bus tour, you will meet our newly furnished AR Media Wall! Don’t be quick to pass by it, for this wall does not merely hold entertaining posters, instead, be amazed by the 3D life of these moving pictures which tell the story of SDC’s evolution over 25 years.

With the mySDC app, scan the QR codes on the posters and watch the pictures come to life. Take photos with the moving animations and try out funny poses with our customised avatars!

3 pm: Grab some popcorn and pop by our iWERKS Theatre!

9. Treat yourselves to a blockbuster movie at IWERKS Theatre.

If you prefer to watch moving pictures on a massive five-storey high screen, drop by the iWERKS Theatre to catch the following films on the big screen!

8. Participate in the Snap-A-Paw Trail to win exclusive SDC Goodie Bags!

After some hours of sitting, it’s best to do some stretching! Explore the premises of Singapore Discovery Centre as you hunt for 25 SingaPaw standees situated all over the centre and discover 25 fun facts about us.

5 pm: Enjoy the evening breeze with a view

10. End your evening by pedal boating out to a gorgeous lake view.

Take delight in the evening breeze with a scenic view at the Discovery Lake! Venture out and take the pedal boats out for a leisurely ride on the Discovery Lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings that nature brings.
