In
helping our present generation
of students
to connect with the valuable
experiences of the older generation,
S’pore Discovery Centre is
organising “My Grandparent's
Treasure Competition 2008”.
This competition provides the platform
for students to improve on their
oral history skills by interviewing
their grandparents, parents or
aunties/uncles. This ground up
initiative enables
the student to learn from their
relatives' valuable experiences
and convey these
memories to others by writing a
story.
Participants will

Discover an object of sentimental
value from their grandparents,
parents or uncles/aunties
- Shoot
a picture of it
- Share the story
by writing it!
